42:21 you just fine thank you uh uh I hope that your people will enjoy this next series which uh has its roots way back 2003 years ago Plato and Aristotle uh wrote about the desire of human beings to live a long life in good health and that's a major major uh focus and interest in uh medicine and biology here uh in this year 2023 right and we're going to start out with the the World Health Organization wh has identified uh multiple sites where uh the population tends to live uh 10 to 15 years longer than the general

43:16 population and one of the things that's characteristic of these areas are there are either Islands or isolated peninsulas where uh the population density is lower than the rest of the country and the people there with their activities of uh work daily work and their diets are uh much like they were maybe a 100 or 200 years ago because french fried franchises don't go into areas with their various uh quick food places uh where there's not a dense population to support the um business and the important thing is is that with the the 37 years that I've

44:11 been focused on uh nutrition uh that uh right in your home you can make decisions to add to your diet and restore nutrient molecules that used to be in the family Gardener Archer when you ate your food that that matured on the plant rather than this modern day as I it took me probably 10 years to recognize that uh uh it's a big change in uh our food chain in the 1940s when I was a kid you could only have certain fruits and vegetables about four to six weeks a year during the growing zone of uh the area where a family-owned grocery store was present in the community now

46:42 World War II there were multiple Nations that all everyone was in the computer every citizen and they recognized that of the Seven Nations at Japan that their population was living longer than other nations that had the this thing and when they went to digging into it it was because on the island of Okawa for example they had a woman that was 116 years of age and in good health and that there were more people over a hundred in okanawa and anywhere else and eventually we'll go into greater detail uh about this because this is a series I'm just giving you kind of an overview of what

47:24 the World Health Organization has identified but uh on okanawa they had 1,334 people over a hundred years of age at the time they did this study back in the early uh 2000 and as I told you the woman that was 114 years of age and that uh 223s of the people were living independently when they were 97 years Inc how many people do you know that are at 97 and living on their own that's incredible and of course the desire is not to live to be 97 and be on a breathing machine somebody helping you you're in a wheelchair you want to be in good health

48:13 and that's what they found out was going on on okanawa and let's next slide let's bring it up is that uh uh on okanawa there was a very very interesting thing that from uh confucious saying uh they had a developed a thing in their language that stop eating when you're 80% full that to eat till you feel like you're going to bust is unhealthy and this is something that prevailed in okanawa is to uh uh eat stop eating when you're first get a sense of satiety now uh the next slide is that uh the Journal of Science in in 22 uh there was a uh I'm having a hard time reading

49:12 the outline that I've got there but uh uh we were I was a zo in a little bit there for you yeah that's that's a whole lot better thank you uh that uh one of the principal things that was going on in the blue zones was a reduce uh amount of eating that lower uh proportions when they eat and uh down at Texas A&M uh they found out that in animals and it's oftimes ignored or purposely forgotten that the biochemistry in animals is very similar to that in humans human beings and that they found out that uh uh the
