My name is Christi Tasker and I am your government gangster disruptor and we are here today with amazing guest Carrie Donovan all the way from North Carolina. Carrie, welcome to Patriots Perspective. Hey Chrissy, thanks so much. Thanks for having me. Yeah, absolutely. So you are on the front lines there in North Carolina. I wanted to hear all about what you have going on especially after we exposed

1:40 shrimp gate and that was overturned. So we're making massive progress in North Carolina. Yeah. Veterans there. So I'm very curious of what's happening this week. What are you seeing on the ground there and um how can America help? Well, so I I was coincidentally at the legislative building on the day that a bunch of the shrimp gate people came in and they were just wandering around and kind of disorganized a little bit. They were all very passionate about the issue. Of course, they'd been following the legislation, but it was a little bit of a of an urgent situation and um just kind of off the cuff. I had an opportunity to talk to a number of them,

2:18 probably 15 or 20 of them. And uh what I learned during that period of time was that everybody needs some basic organizing tactics and skills. And so I was fortunate enough to help them, connect them with some people to get organized. And within days they had things all over social media and you see what happened there. It's a brilliant story about community organizing, the power of the American citizen. Um, and I I could go on and on. I know we have we're sort of have limited time. No, go ahead. I want you to tell about it. What did you What did you do?

2:49 Because I think a lot of people don't realize exactly what happens during the state because there's so many like you and I are volunteers. Nobody's paid to do any of this. We're just regular citizens that are very concerned about our communities. We see things happen in the communities and then we take action. So, I want you to tell people about what you did, how they can become involved um in their own communities, what they should look out for, how you first learned about it. Um let's go into that a little bit. Okay, great. I mean, I and I could go on for hours, so just stop me, but um because I'm very passionate about this topic. I I was trained as a community

3:25 organizer. I had the same professors that Obama had in college. Um, and so I came out of that and I started seeing a lot of things happening from after being in the LA riots and just like how the the left uses political theater and how the left are so brilliant and with their community organizing. So I know some of the tactics, right? So I know the tactics. I know what to look for and I've been talking about that as a journalist and you know wherever I can um about the how how to fight against the people who know all these tactics by basically using the tactics against them. Um, so like the whole rules for

4:02 radicals turned against the radicals, right? So on the day of that shrimp gate and it's a this is a should be a class study um on how to do how to fight against the bureaucracy. I was at the legislative building for another reason and I just saw people start wandering in and they all were sort of dressed as voters, right? And I thought, hm, what's going on? And I just stopped and asked them, hey you guys, what's happening? and they started telling me about their opposition to this legislation that was already on the um it was already out out

4:36 on the all of the um with in the House and the Senate on that day. I think it was in the Senate. Anyway, we knew that there were issues because they were slipping things into this parents bill about the shrimp industry. And so it was shocking the way that it happened. Unfortunately, it was some Republicans who were involved in this and these people who were there had driven from the coast two, three, four hours to fight against it, but they didn't have any organized way of doing so at that time. They had a couple of legislators who were on their side. Later, Keith

5:09 Kiddwell stepped up and helped them, but they had to first know some tactics to put the pressure on the legislators to get the legislators to respond. And like I try to tell people, you can't expect the legislators just to come out of the box fighting for you. That's not the way our system works. There's a process and sometimes you have to show, hey, we have a big uprising here. We have a whole bunch of people who are mad about this issue. You have to listen to us and then they'll start to listen, right? Yes. Fortunately, yeah, just it is what it is.

5:41 That is You're exactly right. That is one of the things that our legislators have told me here, you know, because a lot of times we want to get online, we want to complain, we want to, you know, it's an after-the-act thing. we need to call, we need to organize because we do have, you know, we have a lot of money on the far left whereas, you know, most Republicans are very conservative, you know, along with libertarians who, you know, we we're not we're not big believers in, you know, like or you know, paying for organization, propaganda, uh, you know, against, you know, another side because we're all working. We're all very hard workers and

6:15 we're actually not rely upon the government. So, you know, yet we have government officials that are out making decisions for us um in here in Miami. To kind of give you an idea, they're making a decision that they're not going to hold an election for um some of the seats and they're going to give um theirelves like extra time even though that would be, you know, violating their own term limits. So, you know, these are that we do have to pay attention to Carrie and agree with you 110%. So, I'm I'm glad you I'm glad you get that concept because that is the heart of community organizing. Yes.

6:52 Literally, Obama became president on community organizing. And basically what it is is it's knowing where the pressure points are and knowing when to press press the pressure buttons and who to press those buttons on. So, these poor guys, they were wandering around. They're a bunch of farmer farmers. They're fisher fishermen, right? Farming in the water. Um they consider themselves farmers. And they had they didn't they were gobsmacked that anybody was doing this to them while they were out busy trying to make a living. Right. That is exactly our side also. We want to negotiate. We want to compromise.

7:24 Right. We want to talk things out and debate. It's not how the left works at all. They just go in. They know how to pressure people, get things done. So that's what was happening on that day. And so I talked to a number of them and I said, "Look, you guys need media. You need to understand some tactics." Fortunately, I knew a couple of lobbyists who were in the area who would in the building at on that day and could help them. So, and they said, "You need to have a lobbyist." Everyone needs a lobbyist if you're this big of an industry. They didn't have lobbyists.

7:55 So, I'm not sure exactly, you know, if what I told them that helped, but I can tell you within a couple of days after I was there at that on that legislative day, they voted to pass it. But because this thing was slipped in as an amendment, they had to go. They had a little bit of time, wiggle room to play with. That's like what I said to them. Now is your time to build up a grassroots movement. You need a bombastic explosive grassroots movement with people freaking out and calling their legislators. And you could you could do that within a couple of days if you had some memes. If you had some

8:30 things they did a couple of days later were very well organized. They had these beautiful memes that told this story and got people mad and upset who called their legislators and the next thing you know that's shrimp gate. Everybody should study shrimp gate who has is working on any issue. I can tell you this they pulled that thing together brilliantly within a couple of days and got their way. One thing that they did do was that they found um a legislator from the area again Keith Kiddwell who helped by pushing that through. He knows the legislative. You have to have those

9:03 relationships. The other thing about community organizing is they spend the time on the left to build those relationships. We don't. We just go, ""Okay, what's the if we get into community organizing?" We go, "What's the process? Let's get it done." Right?" Because we're always like, "What's the shortest distance between two points? That's what we're going to do." Uh, you got to have those you got to have those relationships. And that's that ongoing going to the legislative building, going and making contacts, and having a relationship. And it's stuff that we don't like to do typically because it's we're working, right?

9:35 We view it as a waste of time. I've even had politicians tell me, "Well, you never call me for anything." I'm like, "Well, listen, you're busy and you know, we you know, when whenever you know, I'm pretty much guiding other people to them." And so, you know, I'm not occupying time in their office and they really actually want us to. Strangely, I think that's they need us to actually truth. Yeah. I'm sorry to interrupt you. I get really excited about this particular point. They need us to. That is what we need to focus on as a movement, as a grassroots movement. They actually need us to because then they can point and go, "Hey, look in all

10:11 these committees, they always go through these committees and talks and debates and they can say, "Look, this group of people just showed up here and they were very had very good points. They had some white papers. They had some organized thoughts. They had some strategy. They make a lot of sense. It's them, not me. I'm only a representative." And so that is how you we get things done is by helping them. They need us to do it. Yeah. So I'm glad that uh I could tell you about that. That is And so so Carrie, your work, where can people find your work?

10:42 Currently I'm working for uh Ben Burram who is a real America's voice reporter on frontlineamea.com and also Steve Bannon. Uh the warroom.org is where he is. And so those are my two main focuses. What I'm also doing is the veterans for America first. I'm really hoping to do a lot of h whatever kind of assistance I can do to bring veterans into the process of running for office. I think it's very important to have veterans especially because they already they sort of understand the system, right? They have already a a way of serving the community because these are servants.

11:21 they're selfishly selflessly sorry selflessly serving our communities without you know whereas we have a lot of selfish um politicians who are in office right now that we must get them out um because they are they are not servants of our community they never have been servants of our community they've never believe it or not a lot of the people in office have never served our military don't even understand the military do not understand our government. And many of them, believe it or not, ladies and and gentlemen, are from third world countries. So, we bring them over here, we elect them. And by the way, in their own countries, Carrie, did you know that they wouldn't even

12:00 allow them to, you know, we can't go and just get citizenship in their country and then turn around and run for office, right? It's not even like in most countries, the Dominican Republic, I can't even become mayor of a small little town that looks like, you know, even if I wanted to go in and try to clean it up, right? I can't go in and be mayor of of a small town of the Dominican Republic. I have to be born there by Dominican parents. They're very they're very clear on that. And that's one of the America first policy agenda concepts is Americans and America should come first.

12:36 That is right. It's it shouldn't even be controversial. But we have to actually have America first proponents going out and explaining this is what America first policy agenda is. And I can't tell you how I can't explain to you how many people say to me, "How do you know that you're a populace? How do you know that you're America first?" It's like, you just want to put Americans first before anybody else. Why is this a hard concept? You can't go to the Dominican Republic and go, "Oh, I want to be the boss. I want to be the boss of y'all and tell y'all what to do in your government." Like, how? Yeah.

13:10 Controversial and and we wouldn't I think most America Firsters would not even consider that even as an option or want to or you know think that it could even happen. And I think that's one of the biggest things that people might not understand is when you go to run for office in Miami Dade County, there is no one confirming that you are a citizen of this country, ladies and gentlemen, much less that you are operating by the United States Constitution. There's actually an oath that is um that any candidate I've run for office twice, there is an oath that

13:44 they want you to sign saying that you will abide by the constitution. And I said, can you please clarify which constitution you're referencing? Right. Right. Because if you leave the door open, they're if you leave the door open to the left, they will walk through it, exploit it, and use it against us. the left meaning people who want to see the decline of America of America's greatness for a variety of reasons and there's like decades and decades of debate and and people who assign you know different concepts to the left of what who are they what are they doing what do they want do that on an off election year like

14:23 talk about that stuff what we know right now is hit the ground running we know that they want the destruction of America we know we want America first and veterans are a great way to get America First people in there. Of course, there are not 100% perfect either, but you're generally going to find some great service-minded people. So, that's what I'm doing right now. And I'm really excited about this opportunity because I, you know, I admire veterans a lot. So, well, I'll tell you a funny story, Carrie, and this will, this will, the veterans will love this in our community. Um, so with Veterans for America First, one of the things that we do is we try to find

14:59 veterans to run for office in their area, whether it be a mayor, city council, or commissioner. Um, it doesn't really matter, you know, but we do vet them. You know, obviously, we're looking at their military background. We're going to know people that they are connected to. But one of my favorite things to do that we have done before is invite them to Mara Lago and where there's an open bar and see how much they drink or don't drink. Oh my. Pretty quickly and see, you know, really, I mean, that is that is a fun thing that, you know, is that you're able to do and to determine, you know,

15:37 like, hey, this guy still needs help, you know, in his own um situations versus, you know, being put in the public eye. Um, so, you know, if there are veterans out there that that are, you know, my brother is actually one of them. on October the 31st of this year, he will serve his 20th year. Oh wow. So he will he will officially become a veteran then. So it's going to be um interesting times, but at the same time, you know what I find is they continue to want to serve in some way, shape, or form been in that long.

16:12 Um so I'm hoping that there are veterans out there that will get in touch with us, especially you in North Carolina, me here in Miami. Um we are very blessed to have um Colonel Emlio Gonzalez running for the city of Miami mayor. It has been I want to say close to a hundred years since we've actually had a a veteran or even anyone that has served in the US military as city of Miami mayor who has even run for office. We've had many people who have said that they are veterans and claimed stolen valor. And I

16:43 think it's absolutely Yeah. Yeah. So, Carrie, um, so are you on Substack or can where can people find your specific work or where can they find you on X? So, I'm on X at, um, SOSA, S A O R S A 1776. Um, that's where I put up a lot of articles and I'm posting mostly there, but I'm on Getter as well. Um, and so my where I'm writing is frontlineame.com and also warroom.org. org again, Ben Bergwam and um Steve Vannon. And then I have um I put up articles on X that I write on specific topics for the NCOP,

17:25 for example, that would be on Twitter, my articles. And if you go to my my account, there's a place where you hit articles, and that's where you'll find my North Carolina NCOP articles. Um hopefully I'm going to be doing some stuff with Lucricia Hughes, who I've known forever, and she's in involved. Um, and anybody else who, you know, I used to do a lot more podcasting, but right now I'm not I haven't done any that's why like my digs right now. I want to have you on. I want to have my digs up to talk about the news, news commentary and stuff like that. I wanted my audience to, you know, get introduced to

17:56 you so that we could, you know, our Veterans for America First audience will also, you know, be introduced to you because I I know we, you know, I posted the post, you know, that we're welcoming you to the team and we're very very excited to have you because, you know, it's very important that we just cover the entire United States because, you know, prayer warriors, we have, you know, everything. Um, hundreds and hundreds of people. So, if you want to join Veterans for America First, you can go to vfaf. us. Um, you do not have to be a veteran um or a serviceman or their family or a

18:31 family member. However, you know, we do um love when veterans and their family members and servicemen and their family members do join um especially for our board leadership positions. And um we love having people like you Carrie that are investigative journalism journalists who are and know how to activate, know how to see things going on on the ground because it is extremely important. We even have Kimberly coming on a bit later. So I thank you for jumping on even earlier so that I could work her in today um because she is on the ground um for the Texas floods. So, you know, we have people, you know, all over the United States. And so, we would love to

19:10 have especially journalists, um, and, um, you know, anybody that's in the know so that we can just keep an eye on things. That's how we operate. Um, everybody is volunteer. And, um, and our endorsements mean something. You know, we were the first to endorse President Trump before he came down the aisle. Um, that was Admiral Cubic. He is still with us. So, we're going to have Admiral Cubic on a little bit later, not today necessarily, but um uh we are going to have him on. He jumped on an X space last week. Um so, it's very exciting to, you know, hear about the movements and stuff like that that he's seeing and some of our

19:47 military men, especially the ones who um h have high level intel to to see, you know, what they think is going on right now um in our country. So, that's really exciting. Carrie, do do you have um any insights of what's going on with the Texas floods or do you have any anything you want to share? Well, you know, I get I I've been watching, you know, the war room and listening to Steve Bannon and uh Ben Brook is on the ground. He's been there for a few days. I think he's leaving today and then he's on his way to Tampa, which I'm on my way to Tampa at the end of a week, so I'll hear more about it.

20:20 But it what is devastating tragedy and it just like it's I I almost feel like I can't even watch a lot of it because it's so devastating the children the loss of life always is horrifying. Um I know that there's some question and it it feels conspiratorial and crazy and bombastic to even talk about like was this at all influenced by humanity? Was it really an act of God? I think there's going to need to be some parsing out of that because there's a lot of people asking and whether and this is as a journalist like whether I agree with it or not if there's a lot of people asking about it then we need to find the answers. That's just how the

21:02 system is supposed to work. I may not think you know I may think oh that's kind of crazy but there seems to be a lot of people asking. So I'm going to be on the side of let's investigate and find out what happened. going on as soon as we can get to a healing place which may take some time but wow what a devastating rise and here in in North Carolina just the day before yesterday we had some flooding as well so it's happening and people are concerned and people are scared therefore they deserve answers that's all you know that's what

21:32 I'm seeing come out of that when we're when we're seeing that there are already plans for specific plots of land and developments that are that are to take place. I mean, that's when I become really concerned. Absolutely. When, you know, we and we can't ignore those those situations of, you know, of destruction and and the powers that that these people have had for a very long time. And, you know, this brings me to a point I know we're running we're running toward our end, but something I think that we should examine is we know that the Chinese Communist Party is buying up a lot of land.

22:05 We know that they're at war with us. They have been for a very long time. And this is exactly why I want veterans in office because there are a lot of people who are afraid of the Chinese Communist Party. I want people who are not afraid to ask these questions, get to the bottom of it, and to say, "We're going to defend America, American ground. This is our homeland, and we might have issues now here on our homeland." And so this national security is a huge issue. And I think this flood might be alerting people.

22:35 Yeah, absolutely. And I want to remind Carrie, I'll tell you because you and I have not had a conversation before, but the city of Miami has knowingly colluded with the Chinese Communist Party uh via a company called Swire Properties. They've allowed them to buy land um which is our Bickl City Center. Um that that building is evidently um having problems. Um they are ongoing lawsuits and what do they do? they allow them to build on another site, another monumental site, further destroying some of our land, further um just just putting citizens in disarray um with everything from traffic to everything.

23:15 And um knowingly, they've colluded with the ch the Chinese Communist Party via Swire Properties because Swire Properties is act on the Chinese Communist Party list. And some of these same people have gone after Steve Bannon. They've come after me. They've come after anybody that's talking about them. But you know what? We're not backing down. And we are not um we are not being controlled by the Chinese Communist Party here on our soil. So, you know, we do need our FBI and we need our DOJ to act, which is very concerning considering, you know, what they just did with Jeffrey Epstein knowing that we have the Epstein files. Um, so that's a lie to say, you know, there there are no
