They're having people move in like or or they're they'll tear down an entire building, build a a like million-doll unit building and then they make all the other properties around it go up. Okay.

So, and and if you look at the amount of money that's being spent, like even like in a building on property taxes, like even in my building alone, like you're talking about a half like I mean, you're talking about $450,000 for one building, okay? And we don't get that much services. I assure you. I mean, like we're like one, not even an acre. Like like let's just say, actually, I think we're like two acres here. Two and a half, maybe three acres.

You have to actually go to the station where there's one person working. Okay. So the other thing that I want people to do is I want you to think about this. We're being told that you're going to be without police and fire services. Okay? What should politicians put first on their budget? Police and fire. But at the same time, you should have the

If past practice is an indicator, the county administration will recommend higher taxes, rates, and fees, or cuts affecting bus operators, sanitation crews, and park attendants. According to a state report, more than 3,700 county positions are managerial and more than 500 supervise one person or no one at all. It is tough. You heard that? I need this. How can you supervise no one?

I haven't looked, but it's but I'm just telling you, we have people making a buku of money. Time in transit has increased from a projected 61.7 million in fiscal year 2526 to 75.37

28:13 million in this year's budget. The department says they have a plan to reduce overtime. But this issue isn't new. It should have been fixed by now. This is why I am I believe that the reason we have an overtime issue is because we don't even have the employees that they claim that we actually have. holding the department accountable by making them explain any future increases in overtime. Rising health care costs is another area of concern. When the county switched healthcare providers last year, a decision I voted against, we were promised savings upwards of 40 million per year. When I asked about for health care, so the county basically

I was told the county does not yet have the claims data needed to analyze the 2026 savings. Bottom line are we going to in other words they they were claiming savings that they didn't even have proof for. Save money or not? Ultimately right now the county government operates on controlling the speed at which it grows. But can we actually reduce government? Can we save money or not? Budgets reflect priorities. We cannot keep asking families to sacrifice and give more while government continues to grow.
